Welcome to Great Expectations on-line shopping website. We specialise in cotton nappies and natural products for expectant mums, babies and new dads.
Great Expectations was set-up by Nicola Paraskos in May 1999, when her son Alex was 11 weeks old. She decided a new kind of baby shop was called for, one that specialised in cotton nappies and natural, eco-friendly products.
Products are sourced from all over the world, from fair-trade projects in India, Sri Lanka and Peru, and many natural products are from small companies from the UK and Europe.
Our aim is to be discriminating, selling only the best quality products, and to be as green and ethical as we can.
All our staff are parents and use cotton nappies on their babies. They are happy to give you practical advice about our products, from their own experience. Please feel free to call the shop (01273 622993), or e-mail us for more detailed product information, or come and visit us in Brighton!

We use as much recycled packaging as possible.
We only print on recycled paper.
We never use plastic bags in the shop.
We buy green & ethical products whenever we can.
